TGAT is a public service terminal, specialized in the reception of agri-food bulk, being fundamental for the national industry, with capacity to receive PANAMAX class bulk carriers, classified as deep water, with technology that equates it with the best in Europe.

This terminal receives bulk food from important producing regions such as the Black Sea (Ukraine and Bulgaria), South America (Brazil) or North America (USA), thus responding to the large national and international importers of such commodities operating in Portugal.
